In this session, the South Vermillion High School iCat students will share their perspectives and ideas. They will tell you what they wish happened in class along with what they do not feel is “up to date”. This is a great session to gain an honest opinion and guidance from digital natives.
Digitize Your Elementary Assessment Tools - Alisa Heckendorn
There are so many digital tools available to teachers but who has time to dig through all of them? We will explore manageable digital tools that can provide for formative and summative assessment. We will discuss the many ways we can modify and transform traditional assessments to help us obtain student success.

This session will explore great apps, digital tools and approaches for integrating technology in the science classroom. We will explore apps and digital tools as well as several ways to implement during class, labs, review and assessment.
Indiana Academic Standards Updates and Overview for 2014-2015
This session will provide participants with essential information on the newly adopted Indiana Academic Standards in English/Language Arts and Math (2014), WIDA standards for English learners, applications for all special populations, and essential resources for implementation. Participants will have an opportunity to engage with Indiana Department of Education staff, ask questions, and collaborate with colleagues.
