10 Ways to Incorporate Google Apps Into The Classroom - Molly Yowell
This session is aimed at the administrator and the teacher. As an administratrator it is wonderful to know what tools you can recommend to help your teachers. As a teacher, it is amazing to be shown what tools are most effective. In this session, you will learn at least ten extremely useful ways to use Google Drive and Apps in your classroom. Walk away with an action plan to engage, organize and amaze!
Creating a Digital Toolbox - Tiffany Todd
Every teacher wants to include technology in their classroom somehow. A lot of times all I hear is that there are so many things out there they do not know what to use for what. I would like to dig into technology integration and help these overwhelmed teachers organize the multitude of tools there are for them to use. We will start the session with Symbaloo. This is where the digital tool box is going to be built. I want to show my attendees how to set up different web mixes in the categories that will help them best. Then I want to add the digital tools into the webmix as the class continues. We will go over the uses of prezi, popplet, blendspace, vocaroo, equizshow, timelines, padlet, and some other web 2.0 tools. These all are great tools that every teacher needs to start out building a digital tool box. I will use padlet during the class for an open question or discussion board during my class. Attendees will leave my class having started to build their digital tool box in an organized and effective way.
